  1. THE WIZARD OF OZ is not escapism? Maybe that’s because movie drags Dorothy back to Kansas with “there’s no place like home.” Author of book, Frank Baum, would have answered back: “There sure isn’t any place like home. That’s why I sent Dorothy to Oz.”
    In a future book, he sent Uncle Henry and Aunt Em to Oz, too. They stayed there.
